Join Waimea Valley for an educational and fun-filled  day as we host our 5th annual Kalo Workshop!
This workshop brings experts, farmers and community members together to learn and share all about kalo.
The workshop is interactive with special guest speakers, break out sessions and walking tours to our kalo gardens.
The Waimea Valley Kalo Workshop is free and open to all interested individuals and groups.

Hot coffee & tea will be available at registration and you are welcome to bring a lunch from home or purchase something delicious at Nā Mea Ono.

9:00am – Protocol, Introductions, Overview

9:30am – Guest Speaker Weston Yap

10:00am – Guest Speaker Anthony Deluze

11:00am – Break out sessions

12:15pm – Lunch, pounding demonstration, tasting

1:00pm – Excursion/ Identification of species with Jerry Konanui & Penny Levin
