March 12, 2011.  8:30 - 10:30 a.m., starting at the corner of Kalakaua and Coconut Avenue.

Good neighbors, school and civic groups, and businesses can donate or volunteer 1.5 hours to help remove trash. The cleanup and education can improve mauka to makai watershed health. This requires cooperating agencies, organizations and individual citizens to take responsibility and get involved in their neighborhood. The goal of this project is to reduce urban runoff

Volunteer leaders can register at www.cleanwaterhonolulu.com, click on contact us
All volunteers must sign the City release form; turn in at cleanup

Release form, safety checklist, field data form, and educational materials are at

Dress to get dirty. Wear covered shoes, bring sunscreen and water
Supplies and designated trash bag pick up coordinated by City Adopt-A-Stream and
Adopt-A-Block Program
