hauMANA
(The student hui of MANA, the Movement for Aloha no ka `Āina) and Nā W āhine `Ōiwi are hosting a FREE screening of this beautiful film.

Knowledge is power. Please join us as we learn about the ongoing struggles on Mauna Kea to prevent the Thirty Meter Telescope from being constructed on land reserved for conservation. It doesn't just affect our 'aina it affects our people and culture too.

We will be showing the film Mauna Kea: Temple Under Siege on Thursday, July 21 at 6p at Kamakakuokalani (Hawaiian Studies Bldg) at UH Manoa. The film will be followed by a talk-story session with Shelley Muneoka who has recently been involved in the legal side of this discussion. Come when you can, leave when you have to!

Potluck if can, too! :)

Whether you know a little or a lot about what's been going or the importance of Mauna Kea, please come, watch, listen, and be informed. Hope to see you there! Feel free to invite others to attend.
