Woe fish » Honolulu WeeklyKauai-based journalist Joan Conrow has written an excellent piece featuring Uncle Isaac Harp and his efforts to fundamentally change Hawaii’s broken system of fisheries management.

“We need to stop figuring out how to be a new wheel and go back to the old wheel that worked,” Harp says. “We need to get back into ahupua‘a management. It’s not that complicated.”
