Hawaiian Monk Seals: On the Verge of Extinction!
Sign Our Petition! Join our 2009 Campaign to help save the monk seal from extinction.

The Hawaiian Monk Seal Recovery Plan
This is the plan issued by NOAA in August 2007 to save the monk seal from extinction. Unfortunately, it has not been fully funded by the federal government. Together, we must urge state and federal policymakers to make the monk seal's survival a funding priority. Click here to read a copy of the plan. Make sure you are signed up with KAHEA's Action Alert Network to find out about specific opportunities to influence funding decisions for the seal.
